Class Descriptions

Beginning Dance:  This course provides an introduction to couples dancing;

an excellent way to start your dance experience off right.   Learn the ins

and outs of lead and follow, connection, dance frame, elements of slow dancing and how to dance with a partner to faster songs as well as other techniques and exercises.   Great for couples about to get married, or anyone wanting to feel comfortable dancing at an upcoming event.

Smooth Dances:  Generally cover much more space on the dance floor, and are very

elegant and graceful.  Waltz, Foxtrot, American Tango, Viennese Waltz, & Quickstep.

Rhythm Dances:  These dances cover less space, and are much more rhythmical.  Rumba, Cha Cha, Mambo, Samba, East and West Coast Swing, and Bolero.

Club Dances:  These dances are popular in many dance clubs around the area.  Some club dances tend to be flashier than others, with more room for innovation.  Salsa, Merengue, Lindy Hop, Argentine Tango, and Night Club 2 Step.
